Japan's largest financial firm and Ripple partner SBI Group has partnered with another altcoin listed on Binance. SBI Group and Chainlink (LINK) have announced a partnership to advance institutional digital asset adoption, according to an official statement. Through this collaboration, SBI and Chainlink plan to promote use cases focused on financial institutions in the Asia-Pacific region. The two companies plan to introduce several use cases targeting Asia-Pacific financial institutions, such as tokenization of real-world assets, cross-chain interoperability, and on-chain NAV data transmission. Under the partnership, the company will utilize Chainlink’s Cross-Chain Interaction Protocol (CCIP), SmartData, and Proof of Reserves to support cross-chain tokenized real-world assets. Chainlink Co-Founder Sergey Nazarov commented on the partnership: “The SBI team was great to work with. They are one of the most forward-thinking and technically advanced groups in the blockchain industry. We've been building some pretty advanced fund tokenization and stablecoin DvP use cases with SBI for a while now, and I'm excited to see our great work progress into production use at scale. SBI's choice to rely on the Chainlink standard for digital asset transactions demonstrates that Chainlink's security/reliability, compliance features, and cross-border connectivity are essential for conducting high-value corporate transactions.” *This is not investment advice.
